Namaste!
It is with immense gratitude and pride that I assume the role of President of our beloved Bengal Rowing Club. This moment is one of deep fulfilment and responsibility for me.
For nearly a century, BRC has stood for much more than just a club. It has been a second home — a place where families connect, friendships flourish, traditions live on, and countless memories are created.
Over the years, I have witnessed BRC’s transformation — from being renowned for its food to becoming a vibrant institution with a wide range of cuisines, a thriving sporting culture, and young rowers achieving excellence at state, national, and international levels. Brick by brick, together, we have built the club we cherish today.
Looking ahead, my vision is both simple and ambitious:
- To enhance member convenience and services.
- To further enrich our cultural and social activities, making BRC the most vibrant hub for families and friends.
- To embrace modernization with transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity.
I am happy to share two key initiatives:
- Your Club has secured the entire Baroj Road from KMDA exclusively for “Members Only” parking, ensuring a smoother parking experience. Parking stickers for your cars will be issued shortly.
- BRC has partnered with BM Birla Hospital to extend a host of privileges exclusively for our members.
